Roland Jones

Ean Dunton Awarded 2021 Dr. S. Roland Jones Student of the Year

Ean Dunton was awarded as the 2021 Dr. S. Roland Jones Student of the Year. The Jonesboro, Arkansas native has been a solid and dedicated student during his time in the program. His volunteer work, attitude, and committment to the program is something his classmates look up to everyday.

MS State finishes 3rd in PGA Jones Cup

Mississippi State finished round 1 of the 19th Annual PGA Jones Cup in 2nd place, trailing Campbell University. The Bulldogs finished the 36 hole event in 3rd place. This event was held at Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head, South Carolina (November 16-17, 2021).

MSU PGM wins 2021 Heritage Cup

The PGM Program brought the Heritage Cup home to Starkville, winning the fall 2021 tournament usually held during the spring. The team posted an impressive 16-6 victory over Sam Houston State. The program will send another team to Texas this spring to defend their title.

Summer Greens Project at MSU Golf Course

The MSU Golf Course will undergo a massive greens resurfacing project in the summer of 2022. The driving range and chipping/putting area will still be open for practice. The greens project should be completed by mid-August, just in time for the fall tournament schedule.

Chhim Finishes 4th at PGA Works Collegiate Championship

Cameron Chhim (junior from TN) finished 4th in the 33rd PGA Works Collegiate Championship, contested at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL, May 10-12, 2019.
