Admission Requirements

PGA Golf Management
In addition to meeting all of the University’s requirements, students interested in enrolling in the PGA Golf Management program must also meet the following requirements for admission to the program.
- USGA Handicap Index of 8 or lower
- Handicap verification may be provided by submitting one of the following:
- United States Golf Association Handicap Index
- Proof of passing the PGA Playing Ability Test
- Two (2) linkable tournament rounds are required to verify handicap (Junior Golf tours, PGA section events, high school state championships, etc)
- All submitted scores will be verified by a PGA golf professional or golf coach
Transfer students must also meet the following admission requirements:
- Minimum GPA of 2.50
- Maximum of 62 applicable hours
All documents will be submitted to Mississippi State University during the General Admissions application process.
