MSU PGM Recaptures Heritage Cup

The MSU PGA Golf Management Heritage Cup team secured a win over Sam Houston State to bring the Heritage Cup back to Starkville. The yearly tournament was held April 22-23, 2023, at the MSU Golf Course. With a final score of 13-9, the Dawgs were thrilled to bring the trophy back to the office.

PGM Office Completes Renovation and Renaming

The PGM office will now be known as the Ben Nelson PGA Golf Management Suite. Thanks to a generous donation from the Nelson family, the office underwent a total renovation in the summer of 2022. Gone are the hunter green walls and cherry wainscoting, replaced with sleek grey with white details.

Ean Dunton Awarded 2021 Dr. S. Roland Jones Student of the Year

Ean Dunton was awarded as the 2021 Dr. S. Roland Jones Student of the Year. The Jonesboro, Arkansas native has been a solid and dedicated student during his time in the program. His volunteer work, attitude, and committment to the program is something his classmates look up to everyday.

MS State finishes 3rd in PGA Jones Cup

Mississippi State finished round 1 of the 19th Annual PGA Jones Cup in 2nd place, trailing Campbell University. The Bulldogs finished the 36 hole event in 3rd place. This event was held at Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head, South Carolina (November 16-17, 2021).

MSU PGM wins 2021 Heritage Cup

The PGM Program brought the Heritage Cup home to Starkville, winning the fall 2021 tournament usually held during the spring. The team posted an impressive 16-6 victory over Sam Houston State. The program will send another team to Texas this spring to defend their title.
